It’s not too often that the universe is gifted with a person who can successfully utilize their many talents. Acting, singing, directing, composing and producing – Angela C. Howell is truly a woman of many hats.
Hailing from New York, Howell has released six albums. Her music ranges from jazz to blues to folk. Howell now teaches classes to up and coming musicians, sharing her experiences with producing and writing.
Recently, one of Howell’s latest singles “There’s Nothin’ I Don’t Love” hit number 39 on the adult contemporary charts and continues to rise. Howell provides the lead vocals and also plays piano for the track, which was co written with Robert A. McDonald.
Howell also put out a holiday song in early November. “Shimmy Down My Chimney” has reached number 120 on the AC charts. The track is also on Howell’s Christmas album “An Original Christmas.”
Howell has the unique ability to take her many talents and successfully combine them. Taking everything she has learned from production and singing, Howell has managed to keep a name for herself in the music world. Her vocal ability and musical complexity and layering are both reasons to keep an ear out for whatever Howell has next.
Be on the lookout for Howells seventh album, set to be released in the spring.
