Canadian house music production team, Rainer + Grimm might have just created a Summer banger with their new single “Talk of the Town” featuring Plain English. The fast-paced single is liable to get any party hyped.
The duo infuses the amped-up bass and electronic sounds of UK house music with the ill rap lyrics of UK MC Plain English to create the track’s innovative sound.
In order match the song’s hype, Rainer + Grimm also give us a dope music video to match. The video’s early-90’s vibe, teddy-bear-studded baseball bat and piles of cash floating in dryers compliment Plain English’s unapologetic lyrics.
“This video was done a lot more guerrilla style than any of our last videos but turned out to be our favourite to date,” said Rainer + Grimm. “With vocals, the beat and the video all come together better than we could have ever imagined.”
Rainer + Grimm are able to showcase a new and ingenious sound while also staying true to their house music roots in “Talk of the Town”.
