It can be said that in bands other people have to go their separate ways because life happens. People have different ideas and change is a must. But in the end, it is important to remember where you came from. That happened with the band Towers and Trees who are now back and happy to share with this their single, “Head Down Heart Up”.
“’Head Down Heart Up’ is an anthem for the over thinkers of the world; a reminder and challenge to turn the volume knob in your head down, and let your heart take the wheel every once in a while, because it almost always knows where to go. There’s so much noise these days, and so much information coming from every direction, that I think a lot of people identify with this anxiety and ‘analysis paralysis’ from our minds working overtime to try and take everything in and make sense of it all. Despite this, almost all of the things that truly matter – family, community, helping others, self-love – these are products of the heart that can be easily drowned out by the excess noise”, says Towers and Trees.
The song to me, shows that despite what a person goes through, anxiety for example, there will always be a way to get through it. It is important to remember where you came from and why you started in the first place with your goal.
