Charles Matthew Jr. Bridges The Gap Between Smooth Jazz And Classic R&B With “Interpretations”

Chicago Keyboard player and musical director Charles Mathews Jr. has toured the world with some of the biggest names in R&B and Jazz. He is now able to release his own body of work entitled, Interpretations.

Interpretations is an instrumental blend of some of our favorite classics such as “Natural Woman” and “Ain’t Nobody”.

Charles Mathews Jr. pulls out all the stops and showcases all of his musical talent on Interpretations from his smooth keys to the Jazz wind. Everything blends together in a beautifully classic setting with modern mixing and contemporary production quality.

Charles takes you back on a stroll through the 60’s, a magical time for Jazz and R&B music. He was there at the core of its history and continues to keep that spirit alive with tracks like “Only for One Night” and “For the Love of You”.

Not only is the live instrumentation wonderfully performed, but it’s played with such emotion that you feel every key. His dues have been paid and his years of hard work is put on display in this new album Interpretations. You can stream it here and visit his website for all other info. Respect the classics and also respect those responsible for taking part in the culture that completely shifted the music industry.
