Looking for some 90’s alternative rock throwback jams? Something akin to Soundgarden, Nirvana, and Pearl Jam but with an original style and twist? We got you. Florida-based trio Noiseheads just recently dropped their second full-length album Sitcoms for Aliens. Creatively influenced by “[everyone] and everything… except Garth Brooks (even though he’s pretty beast)” the group released a music video for title track “Wait.” last March, and the album is finally here! You’re not going to want to miss this.
Signed under Silly Monkey Music, Noiseheads is comprised of lead vocalist and guitarist Nick Gray, bassist and vocalist Joe Gray, and drummer and vocalist Greg Nicholas. The trio dropped their first demo release back in 2011 and their debut album “1994” in 2013, which caught the attention of the underground community, critics and notable industry folks alike. In 2015 they dropped their first, self-titled EP, which has been streamed and sold in almost 40 countries, and have since been working on the headbang-inducing tracks for Sitcom for Aliens.
Coined by AlternativeNation.net as “[one] of America’s most promising young rock bands,” Noiseheads was able to take home the site’s title for “Best Rock Music Video of 2014,” beating both Alice in Chains and Slipknot in the process.
Noiseheads has a style that’s raw and driving, or “[loud,] nasty, and real,” as they put it, with an energy that just draws listeners in. If you’d like more information about the trio and/or want to give their music some love, go ahead and follow the links below!
