Greetings, music heads and various listeners. While writing, I, and I’m certain others, enjoy listening to music while writing. Currently, I have found myself enjoying this article’s artist of interest, Relexson, to be a good pick for listening. His EP, It’s Broken, is his digital distribution debut, but don’t let that fool you; he’s been at this for a long time. Believe me, it shows.
What we have is a collection of five songs. There might be five tracks, but it packs the intensity of a whole album. Each track is mastered beautifully! I can’t think of a single track that contained any sort of weakness. His production skills are, indubitably, top notch. The EP starts of strong with “Shattered.” It introduces us to the type of vibe to expect throughout the EP, ambient, mellow, yet impactful. My favorite point of the EP is dead center, with the third track, “Frame Break.” The EP closes with a good choice, “Knocktover.” It carries a similar vibe to the prior tracks, but something about it beckons “conclusion.” For those of you that are fond of bass and atmospheric sounds, this is going be something that you’re going to want to check out!
It’s Broken can currently be streamed on Spotify and SoundCloud, so be sure to check it out, as it is worth every minute. Also be sure to follow the artist for updates on the various digital platforms available. Listen on and enjoy.
